Words from DeNexus CEO on Series A

I launched DeNexus a few years back to build the standard for Industrial Cyber Risk Quantification and Management for insurance agencies, shareholders, investors, boards, and the risk transfer market.

It’s with great pleasure that we announced the closing of our Series A funding last week. This marks a pivotal moment in DeNexus’ journey. This influx of capital will allow us to deepen the scope of our innovative technology DeRISKTM the leading OT Cyber Risk Quantification and Management platform, and expand into additional industries and markets.

I want to thank Punja Global Ventures, AXA XL, Prosegur/SegTech, HCS Capital, and the other investors in this and previous rounds for their trust in the DeNexus team. Investment in DeNexus from these highly respected, visionary partners reflects their confidence in our mission and future potential.

This funding also sets the stage for what comes next:

We are strengthening our commitment to deliver an end-to-end cyber risk management solution for industrial companies and critical infrastructure with connected equipment and OT environments. This includes risk quantification, mitigation, and cyber risk transfer.

Reflecting on the journey to this point, none of this would have been possible without the hard work of DeNexus’ employees and their collective efforts to deliver a unique and robust DeRISK platform.

Our customers in manufacturing, data center facilities, power generation, and transportation infrastructures, who rely on DeNexus to manage OT Cyber Risk at a combined set of 200 facilities in the US, UK, and Europe, were equally instrumental. Their generosity in giving us time for feedback and input to build a great solution has been invaluable. We do not forget our technology, commercial, industrial, and insurance partners, who have been a delight to work with as we build the ecosystem necessary to maximize the value delivered to joint customers.

Building start-ups from scratch is never a straight line. It wasn’t for DeNexus either; the future is bright for us. The work ahead is massive, and we are ready to tackle the significant challenges of enabling better cyber risk management in the physical critical infrastructures and industrial sites that fuel our global economy.

Congratulations to everybody!

Up and to the right,

Jose.
