DICYME - DeNexus at International Congress of Cybersecurity: Companies, Research and Society

Cybersecurity has always demanded continuous research and training to stay ahead of evolving threats. With the advent of quantum technologies, this forward-looking approach is more critical than ever. Professionals in the field must not only adapt to quantum innovations but also understand their far-reaching implications—preparing organizations for a future of more resilient and sophisticated security systems.

This commitment to future-ready cybersecurity was at the heart of the International Congress on Cybersecurity: Business, Research, and Society, held at the UAX Madrid-Chamberí campus (13 Arapiles Street), and organized by UAX, in collaboration with the University of Oviedo and INCIBE.

We were honored to participate in the roundtable discussion titled: “Companies: Challenges, Research, and Innovation in Cybersecurity.” During this session, we shared key insights from our experience with DICYME, emphasizing the value and complexity of collaboration between private companies and academic institutions. As cybersecurity evolves beyond a purely technical safeguard, it is increasingly becoming a catalyst for innovation in the knowledge economy.
